Note: In autumn 2006 Ras Myrhdak’s tune ‘Blazer’ dominated the Jamaican charts for several weeks. Although Ras is already well known in Jamaica, even toured the US and was mentored by Capleton there has still been no full album yet. To change that, him and Brotherman decided to work with each other so that we can now proudly announce the release of Ras Myrhdak’s first album! Stephon Moulton more popularly known as Ras Myrhdak was born on March 3, 1977. He grew up in the Linton Park in Brown's Town, St. Ann; a parish known for Reggae greats like Bob Marley, Burning Spear and Barrington Levy. Myrhdak's interest in music started at the tender age of eight when he began singing bass in his mother's choir at the local Church of God. As he grew older his love for music was even greater than before and while attending Brown's Town Comprehensive High School, he started to establish himself as a singjay. In 1997 Ras Myrhdak moved to Kingston and linked with producer Phillip Thomas a.k.a Cutty Ranks to produce the singles, 'Hot Bwoy' and 'Gal a Say Myrhdak' on the Shark label distributed by Greensleeves Company. With the successes of these singles he later linked up with Annetta Brewster-Aitken, his manager. During that time, he worked with well-known producers such as King Jammys, Bobby Digital, Kings of Kings and Gemtar Production. Among his many releases are songs such as 'Camille' and 'All I Do', but he failed to generate that first big hit. He has also made numerous appearances on shows like Sting, East Fest and Bob Marley Day 2004 US West Coast Tour where he was backed by Grammy winners Sly and Robbie. Myrhdak has also performed in Cleveland, Ohio along with well-known reggae artists such as Sizzla and Fifth Element. After Ras in November 2006 conquered the charts with the single Forty Sup’emmh (performed by Capleton) and ‘Blazer’ (performed by himself) which was released on his own label ‘Blaque Warriahz Muzic’, he linked up with Brotherman - what finally lead to this 14 track One Drop ‘Singjay-Style’ longplayer that will convince with conscious, rootsy and strong vibes from this ‘Warriah’. Note: It is very rare for an artist to transcend the genre of music that they operate in and move onwards and upwards into previously uncharted territory but Keith Hudson is, beyond a shadow of doubt, one of those rare artists. His vocal albums are always quite extraordinary but his dub albums are inevitably something else again. ‘Nuh Skin Up’ is the final instalment in the triumvirate of Keith Hudson’s innovative dub outings that began with ‘Pick A Dub’, moved on through ‘Brand’ and culminated in this long overlooked album. A deep, dark and brooding slab of dub that showcases the rhythms of The Soul Syndicate at their most imaginative it was built from mixes taken from Keith’s vocal album ‘From One Extreme To Another’. Both sets were originally released in 1979 but it is still not clear when or where the dub album was actually mixed and, like much of Hudson’s work, it has an air of mystery about it. It is sometimes referred to as ‘The Joint’ and never came in a ‘proper’ sleeve but was released (in a very limited edition) on the ‘Joint International’ label and packaged in a plain cardboard cover with ‘Nuh Skin Up’ rubber-stamped on the front. ‘Joint International’ was owned and operated in New York by Keith Hudson and producer/artist Junior Walker. The comprehensive sleeve notes contain an in-depth interview with Junior Walker who has never before spoken about his involvement with Joint International and his working relationship with Keith Hudson. The usual high quality artwork and visuals that have come to be expected from Pressure Sounds complete the package. This set represents Keith Hudson at his most enigmatic and standout tracks, such as ‘Ire Ire’ and ‘Troubles’, are as good as anything he ever produced. Sparse, spare and hypnotic dub music from a true master. Please note the CD have 2 bonus tracks.

Former member of foundation group African Brothers (alongside Sugar Minott) - Produced by Brotherman, Musicians: Firehouse Crew. Reggae & Dancehall veteran singer Tony Tuff was born Winston Morris in 1955 in Kingston, Jamaica. He started his career singing in the vocal group The African Brothers, alongside Sugar Minott and Derrick 'Bubbles' Howard. The trio enjoyed a number of hits in the mid-70s. Tony Tuff's 1st solo-album was produced by Yabby You. In the early 80s he became part of the famous Volcano sound system owned by Henry 'Junjo' Lawes, and he appeared on numerous productions for Junjo Lawes – Within the digital age in the 90s a body of work followed for Donovan Germain (Penthouse) and even for the relaunced Studio One label at that time. Lately Tony was involved in the Blood & Fire project "Abyssinians And Friends: Tree Of Satta", recorded as well for The Rootsman and Jah Shaka. The producer Andreas 'Brotherman' Christopherson teamed up with Tony Tuff in 2005 and presents this autumn the album ‘Say Something’ featuring 14 tracks of finest roots music!
