03/27 - Chuck Foster - Easy Street - Catch Me Time Records

Mr. Chuck Foster, one of the most respected and worldwide reggae conoisseur hosts Reggae Central Radio Show on KPFK in LA (USA) on 90.7 FM Sundays 2-4 PM and live at KPFK.org, and is the author of Roots Rock Reggae: An Oral History of Reggae Music From Ska To Dancehall (Billboard Books, 1999) and The Small Axe Guide to Rocksteady (Muzik Tree/I Am the Gorgon, 2009).
For two decades he penned the Reggae Update column for Beat Magazine and currently writes a column for the annual Reggae Festival Guide.
Fans may not know that Mr. Foster started his career as a musician and worked in some of LA’s top recording studios long before he started doing radio.
Based in his long experience in 2012 he produced the all-female vocal set "We Roots", in 2013 he issued solo albums "Perseverance", "Make It Right" and the dub album "Conscious Dub".
On his new 2015 album "Easy Street" he offers fifteen all new original compositions backed by a stellar lineup of reggae musicians from Jamaica and Southern California.
There's some KEY TRACKS in the album, the ones like "Righteous Way" on the eternal "He Prayed" Riddim, and my personal favourite "THE ONLY THING".
